The Irish Government hosted an international global economic summit in Farmleigh House in september. Muhammad Ali visits Ireland

The Alis have made a special appearance in Ireland to inspire support for the recently established Alltech - Muhammad Ali Center Global Education and Charitable Fund as well as the Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville, Kentucky. This was their first visit back to Europe in several years.

In advance of their visit to Ennis where Muhammad Ali was made a freeman of the town ( the first ever ),the Alis attended a special charity function in Dublin entitled “An Evening with the Greatest”. This special evening was a complete sell out with guests eager to see the ‘greatest” fighter of them all, in person.
